Sitting Spiritually.....of Lyme Regis

The eagle eyed amongst you will have noticed that we have a new "strapline".
We are now officially known as Sitting Spiritually of Lyme Regis & in celebration of this we were delighted to recently make, on an exceptionally lovely Spring morning, this short film bringing together a trio from Dorset in the shape of us, Simon Thomas Pirie & the beautiful Lyme Regis, our hometown

We’ve been talking recently about our new Simon Thomas Pirie Contemporary Range & following our earlier blog we are delighted to announce that The Floating Bench has been shortlisted as a Finalist for the RHS Chelsea Garden Product of the Year 2016.

The Floating Bench

The competition judges are Anita Foy, former RHS Head of Development and Garden Designer, Deborah Meaden, BBC’s Dragons’ Den, Chris Harrop, Group Marketing & Sustainability Director Marshalls and Peter Seabrook, Gardening Correspondent for The Sun

The winning product will be announced to the Press on the evening of Sunday 22 May and will be live on the Chelsea website on Monday 23 May. A trophy will be presented to the exhibitor of the winning product on Tuesday 24 May.

The Floating Bench is a striking outdoor bench in textured scorched and natural solid oak with the visual twist of a back rest and arms that appear to float, hence the name ‘Floating Bench' and is available as a one, two, & three seater.

The Swing Seat & Frame, to be known as the Yakisugi Swing Seat, is available as a two, three & four seater.

Both are made in a combination of Natural & Scorched Oak, to achieve the very distinctive colour effect using the Japanese art of scorching timber, known as Yakisugi.

The new range is available exclusively from us and will officially launch on our Stand RHW 369 at Chelsea Flower Show.  The Floating Bench will also be on The Product of the Year Stand at Chelsea.
