2006: "I've been waiting for the weather to really enjoy the swing seat and now it's come! Today I've got off the swing seat for long enough to email you with our comments: The seat is really beautifully crafted and comfortable. It's become my favourite spot in the garden for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors. As you can see from the pictures, the oak perfectly matches the green oak of the new pergola. The newly planted scented climbers are going to turn it into a fragrant haven. The children love it and titlehough it's a two seater it's very sociably proportioned and we all fit on! 2007: "You can see how well the honeysuckle and roses have done on the pergola! There is jasmine up the wall behind. The shade these provide, as well as the fragrance, is much enjoyed. One point I'd mention is that because the chains are so long, the swing rate is good and slow. According to the laws of physics, the shorter the string, the faster the swing and I'm sure the slow swing makes it particularly relaxing! That's one benefit of hanging the seat from the pergola.
