Meet The Makers

We have a small team of local people who we refer to as our "Makers".  All are based within a five mile radius of Sitting Spiritually HQ and we are delighted to introduce you to them here.....

GREG SHANNON

Greg works alongside his father, Nick Shannon in the woodwork trade, he is a successful cabinet maker and antique furniture restorer, Greg’s relationship with Sitting Spiritually has been a somewhat family affair. From the birth of Sitting Spiritually back in 2004 his Dad began taking on commissions alongside his own work. This then passed to Greg’s sister Maisie who took on the mantle of female maker. When Maisie  left in 2011 to start a family,  Greg became a full time Sitting Spiritually Maker at his workshop in Seatown, Chideock, keeping up the family tradition

ALEX DE BONO

Alex is a  relatively new member to the Sitting Spiritually team having joined them in the Spring of 2013. His connection with working with timber started at an early age with his father who was a highly skilled Carpenter / Joiner.  Having spent a number of years since leaving school working within the construction industry, he decided to return to his roots. So he set up a workshop back in 2011, building bespoke kitchens and furniture and is now a member of the Sitting Spiritually Team.
