Customer Care, Creating An Experience

“We are so pleased that we decided to invest in the high quality workmanship and personal service that Sitting Spiritually provide. Having researched swing seats from a variety of companies I decided to contact Sitting Spiritually for more information. The excellent, personal service started from this very first enquiry to the delivery of a superbly constructed pergola and very comfortable seat. It was a pleasure to meet the team who had made the garden furniture, especially Alex who was justifiably pleased with the seat he had made. We anticipate many hours of relaxation and pleasure in the garden, even if we do have to remind the grandchildren that it isn’t a swing. Thank you for the personal support and advice, it is a real strength of your company”

Creating an Experience

As a small company, we have always prided ourselves on our Customer Care. For us, Customer Care is the process of building an emotional connection with our customers, whereas customer service is simply the advice or assistance a business provides.  Of course we strive to do both and when we receive an online review like the recent one above, as a team it means so much to us to know we are achieving this.

We find one of the best ways to nurture a relationship with our customers is to personalise their experience with us. When our team provides a personalized response, you, our customer, becomes more engaged with the communication and feels a part of the coming together of your commission.

This is because people then feel more valued by our business. They're not being rushed through as another transaction that needs to be closed. Taking the time to create a thoughtful response is our way of demonstrating our customer care.  It doesn’t matter to us whether the purchase is for a simple rope swing through to a swing seat, swinging day bed or pergola, our level of care will be exactly the same.

So whether you’re just starting to think about investing in our bespoke garden furniture & you’re talking to Martin in the early stages about timbers, sizes, etc, or you have taken the step of commissioning us and are talking to Celia about cushion fabrics, or Siobhan about carvings, every step of the way you will have our undivided attention.

We’re not saying all this to blow our own trumpets (well, maybe a tiny bit!) but because we want you, our customers, to know what you can expect from us.

This level of care carries on right through to the delivery of your commission by one of our Removals Teams, Richard, Kevin or Barry, to if you have chosen a pergola and swing seat or day bed and our craftsman Alex is delivering and building it for you, you will find the same attention to detail throughout.

We believe this is a rarity in today’s busy times, and maybe sometimes even we forget that what we provide is a pretty unique experience and that is why the review at the start of this blog has meant so much to us, and we have taken the rare step of sharing it with you all here, so you are in no doubt as to what you may expect from us all here at Sitting Spiritually.

After the Landscaping

We're handing our last words back over to our lovely customer who provided the review at the top, and also these two photographs. The first is Alex & Ash who made and installed her pergola for her. The second photo about which she says:

"Sitting Spiritually in the newly planted garden.

A perfect spot for the evening G&T, with cows and calves looking over our shoulders whilst we sit serenely looking over the English countryside.

Isn’t this what Sitting ‘spirit’ually is all about ?!!"
