How to Fit a Waterproof Day Bed Cover

If you'd like to store your cushions alongside your Day Bed all year round, one of our Waterproof Day Bed Covers is just what you need.

Step 1: Easy storage

When you're enjoying your Day Bed, the waterproof cover can be stored away ready to use, in its handy drawstring bag. The Sitting Spiritually logo on the front makes it easy to identify when you're looking for it.

Step 2: Start from the beginning

This is what your Day Bed will look like when it's ready for use. The beverage holders are on the outside of the bed, and the cushions are set up for maximum comfort!

Step 3: Preparing your Day Bed for the cover

When you've finished using your Day Bed, and you're ready for the cover, the beverage holders need to be on the inside of the arms resting on the mattress, and the cushions need to be positioned in the middle of the bed.

Step 4: Lay the cover over the top

You can tell the cover is the right way round by ensuring the Sitting Spiritually logo is facing you on the front of the bed. This is the quick and easy way of telling if you've got it right.

Step 5: Secure the cover

There's a chord that runs around the bottom of the whole Day Bed cover, pull it out a bit and add it under each corner to hold it in place.

Step 6: For extra security

For a bit of extra protection against bad weather, wrap the cord around the bolt and chain to give it a bit of additional anchoring to the Day Bed.

Step 7: Let it breathe

If you're looking to store your cushions in the Day Bed all year round, it's important that you add the pole. The top end clips into the centre of the cover to create a vent, while the bottom has a rubber foot which is safe to stand in the center of the mattress. This holds the cover up off of the soft furnishings and allows air to circulate, preventing condensation from ruining your cushions.
