At-Home Refresh (DIY)
If you enjoy a little seasonal ritual, our care guide walks you through a simple clean-and-feed routine.
You can also buy our Wooden Furniture Refurbishment Kit, which includes the same core products we use in our service (cleaner, feeding oil, brushes, sandpaper and finishing essentials).
Option B
Full workshop refurbishment (we handle everything)
We collect your Sitting Spiritually furniture, restore it in the workshop, replace or repair parts where needed, then return it reassembled. It's an entirely hands-off experience where we handle everything for you.

Our aim is to return your piece looking and feeling beautifully refreshed — clean, refined to the touch, and correctly balanced and secure. You’ll be amazed at the difference a careful workshop process can make.
Is refurbishment worth it versus replacing?
If you love the way your seat feels — the proportions, the hang, the memories it holds — refurbishment is the most considered way to keep that exact piece at its best. (And it’s far simpler than starting again.)
How long will I be without my seat?
Typically around 4 weeks. Many customers choose winter refurbishment so it’s back for spring, and we can advise on the calmest timing for your garden. We're more than happy to hold on to your seat until you'd like it back.
Do I need to dismantle anything?
No — we’ll guide you through what we need, and collection is arranged as part of the service.
Can you do this if I’m moving house?
Yes. We can collect from your current address, refurbish, then deliver to your new home when you’re ready.
Can I do a simpler refresh at home?
