In 2004 when Sitting Spiritually was just beginning life was different. Timber was collected from a local merchant and the Seats and Frames were all made on a single bench in my small workshop at Bramble Hayes.

Each year as the brand became better known, the numbers made went up and help was needed. I carefully selected local joiners to help from their own workshops. Eventually a team of 5 got to know us, understood the quality that was needed and relied on us to keep them and their families well rewarded.

More help was needed, admin, cushions, carvings, website ,rope making etc etc  so a community grew and I made it my business to pay them adequately and promptly.

Because they all work in independent workshops they can carry on.

So, they,  and of course me,  are open for business legitimately and safely.

Deliveries are still carrying on with our local removals company under permitted home deliveries and rope swings go through DHL.

We do hold some stock of items, including these garden swing seats that are ready to deliver and assemble. But can offer bespoke in 3 to 4 weeks and rope swings  in a few days.

If you’re dreaming of a garden swing seat or rope swing and find some sanctuary, call us on 01297 443 084 or 07837 651283 if you need any help, we'd love to hear from you.
