Great Ormond Street Hospital Receive a Beautiful Bench From Sitting Spiritually

It is Sitting Spiritually’s honour to be delivering a RHS Centenary Bench to Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) in London. Not only this, but this bench will carry an inscription thanking GOSH for all of the amazing work that they do for children all over the country- and the world.

As of 2018-2019, GOSH receives 237,908 outpatient visits and 43,218 inpatient visits yearly. Many children are referred to GOSH from outside of London- almost half in fact. This paediatric hospital is essential for providing care for the children who are the most in need, as they have the UK’s widest range of clinical specialities of any paediatric hospital on one site.

It is for these reasons, and many more, that Sitting Spiritually felt compelled to make this gesture of appreciation.

This intricate and hand-carved bench will be situated in the rooftop garden, a safe haven for the over 3000 staff members of GOSH. The smooth clean lines of the oak seat will complement the calm and serene atmosphere of the staff garden.

Once again, Sitting Spiritually is delighted to be able to make this contribution to GOSH and their staff. We hope that these wonderful key workers will find peace of mind through some restful moments sitting on this bench.
