The Sitting Spiritually Open Garden - Open Weekends

We're so disappointed to not have been able to open for our planned second Open Weekend of the year, so we'd like to share a gallery of images with you so that you may at least enjoy the garden virtually.

We really hope to be able to go ahead as planned for 5th & 6th September and will of course keep you updated and please do check for news.

Jarman Murphy say about the area in the video to the right here.....

"This part of the garden was influenced by our visits to Beth Chatto’s garden in Essex. We’ve used spurs of yellow Asphodeline and lumps and bumps of Ballotta and Merubium, evergreen small shrubs, for texture and interest throughout the year. The Asphodeline will be followed by bronze fennel which will fluff above everything and Verbena macdougalii ‘Lavender Spires’ and on the ground there’s Stachys ‘Primrose Heron’ and lots of different creeping thymes and rosemary"
