RHS Garden Rosemoor's New Arrival

Following the launch of our new range, The Affinity Accoya, we are absolutely thrilled that RHS Rosemoor are the first to take delivery of theirs.

As you can see from the photos, it’s a gorgeous Three Seater Heart Back, painted in Farrow & Ball’s Ammonite,  and, with a nod to our roots, two ammonites inset into the arms.  All as the film Ammonite is awaiting its launch. The film is loosely inspired by the life of British palaeontologist Mary Anning, played by Kate Winslet, and was largely shot in Lyme Regis.

As with all the RHS Gardens, to encourage people to be in the fresh air and take some exercise during the Lockdown, Rosemoor is currently open to the public.  You may read their advice about visiting here

Rosemoor is open to visitors with advance bookings only. To access the garden, please pre-book a time slot in advance of your visit.

RHS Garden Rosemoor is the nearest one to us at Sitting Spiritually, nestled in the Torridge Valley, Rosemoor is an enchanting place to visit in every season; cherry trees blossom in the spring, the iconic Hot Garden dazzles with vibrant colours in summer, while the woods blaze with autumn finery and the Winter Garden catches the eye later in the year.

You will find the Affinity Accoya in Lady Anne’s Garden. Lady Anne was the renowned horticulturist who created the spectacular Rosemoor garden. She gave her house, its garden and 32 acres of pasture, Rosemoor in north Devon, to the Royal Horticultural Society in 1988. She had lived long enough to see RHS Rosemoor become one of the most important public gardens in the UK and closely followed its growth over the past decades.

In 2020, Rosemoor celebrated their 30th Anniversary and took delivery of an Oak Pergola & Tranquillity Curve Back Swing seat, carved with a commemorative inscription.

They also have a Tranquillity Fan Back, so there are plenty of places to rest awhile and relax on one of our swing seats.  All are shown in the gallery of photos below.

If you visit Rosemoor do send us a photo of you on one of our seats, we’d love to see you there & with your permission would feautre you on our social media!
