The Perfect Christmas Goes With a Swing.....

Studies have found that children are spending 23 hours a week on electronic devices. Yes 23 hours! And to make it even worse, they’re only spending 12 hours a week talking to their parents. When did the world go so wrong?

So our aim for this Christmas is to get children away from screens and keep them active outdoors – whatever the weather and here's how....

Our oak rope swings, hand made in Devon, continue to be a best seller for us and they have really gone from strength to strength over the years.  We are also finding more and more that adults are buying for themselves, just as much as for children.

We make the oak ones in four sizes and all can be hand carved with favourite words and inscriptions and new for 2019 is a Rope Ball Swing, as inspired by a certain one that made a big entrance at Chelsea Flower Show!

Child’s – perfect for little ones

Single – a generous 75cm wide, perfect for children or adults.  In fact, two children are able to sit comfortably on this together

Double – a big favourite for weddings, a generous 110cm wide, very comfortable for two adults, and any number of little ones!

Round – perfect for the more adventurous, often referred to as a button or monkey swing

Triple Rope Double – the same size as our standard double, this innovative three rope swing, perfect for children (or adults!) who love to sit together. During our recent photoshoot, our willing models found that the central ropes provided them with good stability alongside the ability to get up a really good swing in the process.
