The RHS Gardens Are Good To Go....

All of the RHS Gardens have been awarded the official Great Britain and Northern Ireland “We’re Good To Go” symbol which indicates that they follow government Covid-19 guidelines to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing.  All the gardens are open to visitors with advance bookings only. To access the gardens you will need to  pre-book a time slot in advance of your visit and we have provided the links you will need below.

Rosemoor, Devon

RHS Garden Rosemoor is the nearest one to us at Sitting Spiritually, nestled in the Torridge Valley, Rosemoor is an enchanting place to visit in every season; cherry trees blossom in the spring, the iconic Hot Garden dazzles with vibrant colours in summer, while the woods blaze with autumn finery and the Winter Garden catches the eye later in the year.  Rosemoor have our swings seats in the garden and we are delighted that they are to be one of the first to have our new Affinity Accoya swing seat, to be delivered to them in late October.

Wisley, Surrey

Arguably the most famous of the RHS Gardens, Wisley is the historic home of the RHS and undoubtedly one of the finest gardens in the world. Wisley was given to the RHS in 1903 and is now a hub of horticultural excellence and a top visitor attraction, with 97ha (240 acres) to explore. It is home to some of the largest plant collections anywhere in the globe and showcases inspirational gardening. Planting schemes are constantly evolving to ensure there's always something new to excite and inspire visitors. Key highlights throughout the seasons include The Glasshouse, Rock Garden, Bowes-Lyon Rose Garden, The Mixed Borders and the newly-created Exotic Garden. Seasonal must-sees include a carpet of crocus in spring, blooming rose collection in summer, magnificent autumn colour and a crisp Winter Walk.  Wisley have four of our swing seats placed on their Riverside Walk, which will be reopened in Spring 2021.

Hyde Hall, Essex

Set in the heart of rural Essex, and enjoying stunning panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, RHS Hyde Hall is one of the finest gardens in the east of England and is a haven of peace and tranquillity. Hyde Hall is a patchwork of colour, with vast swathes of grasses and herbaceous perennials flowing through its landscape. It is is located in one of the driest parts of the UK, with an average rainfall of just 600mm, and its iconic Dry Garden shows how a beautiful garden can be grown without ever needing to be watered by choosing the right plants for the right place.

Bridgewater, Greater Manchester

And, opening in Summer 2021, is RHS Garden Bridgewater.  The site will cover a massive 154 acres and we are very excited to be making them two Tranquillity Swing Seats to be delivered in time for their opening.  The creation of RHS Garden Bridgewater in Salford, Greater Manchester, is one of the most significant events in the Society’s 215-year history. World-renowned landscape architect Tom Stuart-Smith created the Bridgewater masterplan. Its centrepiece, the 11-acre Weston Walled Garden, is one of the UK’s biggest, measuring the size of six football pitches and comprising 11 gardens, including the Paradise Garden, Kitchen Garden, Wellbeing Garden and Community grow spaces.  We very much look forward to the opening of what sounds a really fantastic & inspiring garden.
