The Sitting Spiritually Garden is a sea of verdant lushness right now, and we absolutely welcome visitors to share in it, here’s what you will see if visiting soon, and the photo gallery below will hopefully tempt you to pay us a visit very soon....
Cephalaria gigantea
The Cardoons which are sending up their flowering stems
The roses of which there are Lady of the Lake, Alfred Carriere (both of which are climbing over the pergola) and Aglaia over the beach hut and up the obelisk
Honeysuckle, Graham Thomas over the pergola
Cotinus (The Smoke Bush) which glistens with raindrops like fairy glitter when we’ve had a shower
Lots of ornamental grasses sending up flowering stems
The Verbena will begin to flower soon
The biscuity tones of the allium seed heads
Stachys (Lamb's Ears) will be fluffing about the gravel
Gallium odorata should be in flower under the swing seats for a little longer
Lots of ferns unfurling in the shady areas

Take a Stroll in the Garden
Gardens are special places with individual atmospheres, histories and magic. The Sitting Spiritually garden is in a coastal, hillside location where we had a desire to create a feeling of intimacy without obscuring or distracting from the beautiful scenery beyond.
The garden is an immersive space of fresh foliage with ornamental grasses, masses of perennials and friendly giants such as the cardoons.
The Sitting Spiritually Garden near Lyme Regis acts as our show garden for our range of Swing Seats, Benches and the Swinging Day Bed.
Anna Sissons is the gardener at The Sitting Spiritually Garden along with her husband, Woody. She also works as a garden designer in Dorset and Devon
