So school is almost out and if you’re planning a Holistay you may already be wondering how on earth you’re going to keep the kids amused for all those long weeks with things that don’t involve too many of those little screen things!  But hang on, it’s not just the little ones that need amusing during those long weeks, we have had many enquiries from shall we politely say, older adults, including one lady who was treating herself to a rope swing as a gift to self for her 70th birthday because she had always wanted a tree swing!

Get Outside!

We've said many times during lockdown that spending time outdoors at one with nature can help relieve stress and anxiety, improve your mood, and boost feelings of happiness and wellbeing & we believe that we should strive to keep these things in our lives as restrictions are being eased.  Being outside made so many of us feel so much better, why change that now, hang on to those feelings.

Nostalgia

There really is something about a good old fashioned tree swing that brings out the child in all of us.  Could you really resist the sight of one hanging in a tree? We defy anyone to walk passed without getting on to have a good old swing, and you may need a break from the family yourself during the holidays, so go on, buy them a swing but use it yourself, you know it makes sense!

Our swings all come with synthetic hemp ropes and are spliced by hand for us by a local man who trained with the famous Bridport Gundry Rope Makers so they are kinder to your tree and will not rot. The  ropes come ready with our no knots fixing kit to make hanging the swing extremely simple, all with marine grade stainless steel fittings which are suitable for their life outside.

And this is the best bit…..whilst lots of garden furniture is either sold out or has an extremely long lead time due to Covid restrictions, we can promise you delivery in 7-14 working days, depending on whether you opt for an uncarved or carved swing.
